About Us
The Timeshare Store, Inc.® (DVCstore.com) has been selling Disney Vacation Club contracts since 1994, and we specialize in DVC—exclusively.
Our broker, Thomas Yeary, and his wife, Judy Yeary, originally launched a timeshare real estate division within Williamsburg Realty in 1994, working with all types of timeshare properties. It quickly became clear, however, that Disney Vacation Club was a unique market with its own demand, rules, and value—very different from traditional timeshares.
The First to Sell a Disney Vacation Club Resale
Early on, our broker formed a close professional relationship with one of Disney’s original DVC Guides—one of the first six hired by Disney.
That relationship proved invaluable, as Disney began referring members directly to us when they needed assistance selling their DVC contracts. In fact, Disney confirmed that we were the first brokerage to successfully sell a Disney Vacation Club property back in 1994.
Our Growth and Evolution
From 1994 to 1997, founders Tom and Judy Yeary operated out of Williamsburg Realty’s real estate office as they built what would become The Timeshare Store, Inc.®. As the business grew, it became clear that a larger office space was needed. In 1997, The Timeshare Store, Inc.® opened its own brick-and-mortar office next to SeaWorld Orlando, where it remained for more than two decades.
In 2021, as the world shifted toward remote work due to Covid, we made the decision to close our physical storefront while continuing to deliver the same high level of service our clients had come to expect. Today, our team operates in a remote setting—but we remain firmly rooted in Central Florida.
Our team is in close proximity to Walt Disney World, and we are always happy to meet with clients face-to-face when personalized, in-person service is desired. While the office walls may have changed, our local knowledge, experience, and commitment to our clients remain exactly the same.

Thomas Yeary began his career in the timeshare industry in 1982, working alongside his wife, Judy Yeary, at Orange Lake Country Club. Together, they built a reputation for exceptional customer service and industry-leading closing ratios — qualities that would define their careers.
In 1985, Tom and Judy were recruited by Marriott to help launch its second timeshare property, Sabal Palms Resort, and played an integral role in the early development of what would become Marriott Vacation Club. Their experience in direct sales gave them a deep understanding of both the industry and their owners’ needs.
After years of success, Tom and Judy recognized a growing gap in the marketplace: owners who wanted a professional, ethical, and knowledgeable way to resell their timeshare interests.
That insight led to the creation of a timeshare resale division within Williamsburg Realty in 1994. As demand grew quickly, they expanded the business and officially incorporated The Timeshare Store, Inc.® in December of 1997, establishing a dedicated 1,600-square-foot brick-and-mortar office one exit away from Disney off I-4.
While the company initially represented multiple timeshare brands, Tom’s close professional relationships with Disney Vacation Club—including early referrals from Disney—set the company apart. In fact, The Timeshare Store, Inc.® became the original Disney Vacation Club resale brokerage, focusing exclusively on DVC long before the resale market was widely recognized or understood.
Today, The Timeshare Store, Inc.® is staffed by six dedicated, licensed real estate professionals who specialize solely in Disney Vacation Club resales and rentals.

Jerry Sydow has been with The Timeshare Store, Inc.® since 2000 and brings over 26 years of specialized experience in Disney Vacation Club resale and rentals — along with more than 30 years in the timeshare industry.
As Sales and Office Manager, Jerry has guided thousands of families through the DVC buying, selling, and rental process with expert market knowledge, transparent pricing, and a personalized, client-first approach. His deep understanding of DVC contracts, resale trends, and long-term ownership strategy has made him a trusted resource for both first-time buyers and seasoned members alike.
Outside the office, Jerry enjoys traveling the world (Disney destinations included), photography, golf, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Jamie Carr, is a Disney Vacation Club specialist with over 22 years of experience with The Timeshare Store. Jamie started her career as an administrator in 2003 and transitioned to a sales associate, where she has been assisting clients with buying and selling for over 20 years.
While her main focus falls on assisting those who are selling and purchasing DVC, she really enjoys assisting with planning their DVC vacations, through rentals. Outside of work Jamie loves traveling; so far Alaska and New Mexico are her favorite locations. She also loves thrifting and antiquing, as well as spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
