GEO-82 Lounge at EPCOT: An Adult Retreat Inside Spaceship Earth
This past weekend, I spent some time at EPCOT. While waiting for friends to arrive, I decided to check for dining reservations — and to my surprise, GEO-82 popped up! I’d heard mixed reviews about this new lounge and couldn’t wait to experience it for myself.

What Is GEO-82?
GEO-82 is an adult-only lounge located inside the Spaceship Earth attraction — yes, inside the iconic EPCOT globe! The name pays tribute to 1982, the year EPCOT first opened.
Disney designed GEO-82 as a stylish hideaway where adults can relax, enjoy signature cocktails, snack on small plates, and soak in stunning views of the park. The space feels exclusive yet comfortable, with décor that perfectly matches EPCOT’s modern and imaginative vibe.
Location and Atmosphere
You’ll find the entrance tucked away near the Project Tomorrow exit of Spaceship Earth. Inside, large windows offer sweeping views of World Celebration Gardens and parts of World Showcase Lagoon, making it a prime spot for people-watching or catching the fireworks later in the evening.
Although the lounge isn’t large, it feels surprisingly spacious. Every seat was taken when I visited, but I never felt cramped. Disney’s layout and lighting design — including fixtures reminiscent of sparkling fireworks — make the room both cozy and visually striking.

Drinks and Menu Highlights
The menu features signature cocktails and small-plate bites, curated with EPCOT’s creative flair. We ordered:
- Brown Butter Old Fashioned – The presentation was fantastic, especially the Spaceship Earth stamp in the ice cube. Taste-wise, it was decent but not my favorite; I’ve had better versions at Disney Springs.
- Bourbon Flight – Excellent from start to finish. My top pick was the Woodford Reserve Private Barrel, smooth and flavorful.
The GEO-82 Fireworks Experience

One unique option at this lounge is The GEO-82 Fireworks Experience — a premium add-on for EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular, Luminous: The Symphony of Us.
Here’s what’s included:
- A reserved table beside the windows for the best views
- Champagne or exclusive cocktails poured tableside
- A “tasting tower” of savory bites before the show, followed by sweet treats during the fireworks
The cost is around $179 per person. While the concept sounds amazing, it’s definitely a splurge — you might prefer to enjoy the drinks and then find a good viewing spot elsewhere in the park.

My Thoughts
If you’re considering a visit to GEO-82, I’d say it’s worth stopping in at least once. It’s a relaxing escape from the park crowds with a sophisticated atmosphere and beautiful views. Prices are on the higher side, so it’s a one-and-done for me!
My tip: grab dinner in World Showcase first, then head to GEO-82 for a nightcap. Whether you’re a Disney fan, a cocktail enthusiast, or just looking for a new EPCOT experience, this lounge is a memorable addition to the park.
