Among its many charms, this resort offers a selection of rooms that overlook the resorts 33-acre savannah complete with more than 20 different types of animals. The first DVC phase of this property opened in 2007 with the conversion of 134 units in the main Jambo house building. A further 324 units were added to the Kidani Village building in 2009. This property is the only one of Disney Vacation Clubs 14 resorts to offer units on the Concierge floor of Animal Kingdom Lodge, giving guests access to the Kilimanjaro Club lounge.
