Bay Lake Tower | List Of Rooms and Size Occupancy

Bay Lake Tower features a mixture of accommodations: Deluxe Studios, One-Bedroom Villas, Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas, Two-Bedroom Lock-Off Villas, and Three-Bedroom Grand Villas. All room categories at Bay Lake Tower except Three-Bedroom Grand Villas can be booked as either standard view, lake view, or theme park view. Three-Bedroom Grand Villas have the option of being booked as lake view or theme park view.


Deluxe Studio

Deluxe Studios at Bay Lake Tower can accommodate up to four adults. Each studio features a queen-size bed and double-size sleeper sofa. The room also includes a full bathroom, kitchenette area, and a private porch or balcony.

One-Bedroom Villa

One-Bedroom Villas at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort sleep up to five adults. These rooms feature a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a living room with a double-size sleeper sofa and the addition of a single pull-out sleeper chair. These villas also feature a full kitchen and two full bathrooms. Additional amenities are a private porch or balcony, and a washing machine and dryer.

Bay Lake Tower | Queen Size Bedroom

Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villa

Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas at Bay Lake Tower can sleep nine adults with a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two queen-size beds in the second bedroom, and one queen-size sleeper sofa and single pull-out sleeper chair in the living room. These rooms also feature a full kitchen, three bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a private porch or balcony.

Two-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa

The Two-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa category is comprised of a Deluxe Studio and a One-Bedroom Villa. This villa sleeps nine adults with a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a double-size sleeper sofa and single pull-out sleeper chair in the living room, and a queen-size bed and double-size sleeper sofa in the studio room. These villas also feature three bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a private porch or balcony.

Three-Bedroom Grand Villa

Three-Bedroom Grand Villas offer the largest accommodations available at Bay Lake Tower. These villas can sleep up to twelve adults and include a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two queen-size beds in each of the two additional bedrooms, a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa in the upstairs loft. Grand villas also feature a full kitchen, four bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a private porch or balcony.

Nightly point cost for Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort start at 14 points per night for Deluxe Studios, 26 points per night for One-Bedroom Villas, 37 points per night for Two-Bedroom Villas, and 84 points per night for Three-Bedroom Grand Villas. The point costs here are in the middle range compared to other Disney Vacation Club resorts and can increase based on the room view chosen.

Annual Dues

2024 Disney’s Bay Lake Tower Annual Dues: $7.59 per point

Annual Dues or “maintenance fees” are paid yearly by Disney Vacation Club Members. These costs vary by resort and help cover real estate taxes, operating expenses, and administrative expenses for each resort.

Contempo Cafe | Interior of the Contempo Cafe

Contempo Cafe: With a prime view of the monorail, Contempo Cafe is the place to grab a variety of sandwiches, pizzas, wraps, salads, and more. Contempo Cafe opens for breakfast at 7:00 am and stays open for late-night dining until midnight.

Contemporary Grounds: Stop by for a quick gourmet coffee of tea at this sleek counter before heading out to a day at the parks.

The Wave | Bay Lake Tower The Wave Entrance

The Wave…of American Flavors: Located right off the lobby of the Contemporary Resort, The Wave features American cuisine in a stylish modern setting. This restaurant is considered a hidden gem among Disney Vacation Club members.

Chef Mickey’s: This is the place to go to see the fab five: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto and enjoy a buffet of American cuisine in the magnificent setting of the Grand Canyon Concourse. Chef Mickey’s is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

California Grill | A Bunch Of People Eating At A Restaurant

California Grill: This award-winning restaurant combines the Pacific Coast flavors of Califonia with panoramic views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park. Situated on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, California Grill offers one of the best fireworks views you will find in a dining experience.


In-Room Dining:

In-room dining options are also available to guests 24-hours daily. Menus within your DVC Villa will showcase the wide variety of American favorites and specialty items available at your resort.


Lounges:

California Grill Lounge: Enjoy a pre-dinner drink or indulge in the same menu items offered at California Grill at this first-come, first-serve lounge.

The Wave Lounge: With a menu comprising of appetizers, draft beers, and specialty liquors, The Wave Lounge is a trendy place to relax and enjoy the evening.

Contemporary Resort Main Pool: With a 17-foot water slide, two whirlpool spas, and a children’s play area, the main pool is the place to be for families looking to spend some time away from the parks. 

Bay Lake Pool: This round leisure pool provides a relaxing spot away from the main pool to unwind. Bay Lake pool is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Transportation

Transportation | Bottom View Of A Bullet train Like Inside A Building

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is a short walk away from Magic Kingdom Park. The resort also offers monorail transportation to Magic Kingdom, area resorts, and the Ticket & Transportation Center. From the Ticket & Transportation Center, guests can also find monorail transportation to Epcot. Boat service is offered to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Bus service is available to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, both water parks, and Disney Springs. If traveling before 4:00 pm for specific locations, guests may need to take the monorail to the Ticket & Transportation Center for bus service.
