A Member to Member DVC point transfer is a one time use point option available to DVC Members. If you are a DVC member who just does not have enough points in their account to book a desired reservation, or looking to book up to 11 months in advance for a resort you do not own*, DVC Transfers points will provide you an option without having to purchase an entirely new DVC Membership. All DVC Members are allowed one transfer per membership per annual allocation (in or out) per year, which allows a Member to add additional points into their DVC Account. The Points can either be used within the Use Year (annual year they are allocated in, or banked and used by the following year). The shelf life for Transfer points is up to 24 months. Transfer points that are not used, can be banked (on or before their banking dealing) and be used in the next years allocation. If Transfer points are not used by their expiration date, they will expire. When using transfer points, please be aware you will have to call Disney Member Services when booking and let them know you want to use the transfer points in your account. Transfer points may show up in your DVCmember.com account, however if you want to book and use them, you will need to call Member Services for their assistance.
